Experience & Qualifications

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by their ethical framework.

I hold an accredited Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (ABC awards Accredited).

A specialist Diploma in Counselling Children & Young People.

I also hold a full enhanced DBS.

In addition to private practice, I have experience in providing counselling across a variety of settings and needs, including school, where I currently volunteer as a counsellor at a local primary school. I have also volunteered as a counsellor at a low-cost counselling service in Torbay and at a drug and alcohol additions centre in the Teignbridge area.

I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds, genders and ages experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, attachment disorders, difficulties with self-esteem, behavioural issues, bereavement, difficulties with relationships and addictions among others.
